Supercontinuum genertor

Last time special attention is attracted to photonic crystal structures with two-dimensional and three-dimensional grid in the cladding, such waveguides allow you to control and localize electromagnetic radiation field in a wide range of wavelengths. As a result of localization of mode radiation in defect higher-order nonlinear effects starting to act and it is giving oportunties to management dispersion. Using all above listed phisicall effects anf properties of PCF, generation of supercontinuum in microstructure waveguide was received. Our supercontinuum generator show an impressive broadening of the spectrum at a high intensity level, it has a width from 350 nm to 2200 nm, wich is more than 2.6 optical octaves.
